What is Family Day Care?
Family day care is an approved child care service run from the home of a qualified professional educator who has chosen Family Day Care as their career choice, and has been fully approved and is regularly assessed under the Child Care Regulations. Family daycare operates under the same National Quality Framework (NQF) as other forms of child care: National Quality Standards frameworks & an assessment & ratings process.
In small groups (Ratio is 1 educator to 4 children under school age at any one time), children will enjoy a natural approach to play and discovery and form genuine lasting bonds, while families enjoy peace of mind knowing their child is happy and safe in a nurturing, natural and flexible home learning environment.
Providing education and care to children that truly focuses on each individual child’s development, while supporting and creating meaningful relationships with the children and families in care. Often these relationships continue long into adult years sharing milestones, and often described as an extended family.
That's what makes Family Day Care what it is. A unique service where children bond with their educator because there is no staff turnover.
